Arrival at Waterloo station exactly at 09.29:28 and our 9.30 train was missed from about 30 seconds. What a pity, now Terry and I will have to wait at the station for the next Portsmouth train; though there is always much around a station to keep entertained by, including a competition on who can take the most interesting picture of the Pasty shop. This is hte first picture of the Pasty shop.

The local pigeon whom I wanted to give a tissue to as I had nothing else I could spare to him otehr than a giant box of tissues for my cold that Terry had got me in Boots. Pigeons are not keen on tissues, I heard,so I didn't give him any.

This one was also taken upside down but I changed it on photoshop for the sake of normality. I dislike my attitude, sometimes, for trying to please other people and stick to confirmity; since doormat personality and Cant say no to the encyclopedia's seller is what I am (I am, I read it in Terry's book on the way) it is all very difficult to be self.

Arriving at the pier and having had a little ping message from Mr G saying "You are desired on this number" which made me feel very good, actually. It was Carol!

But I get excited at the view of fish! I wanted to try and catch one using Terry's camera lense as an arm to kill a fish, but he refused. It is true that had I got a fish, I would have had to take my shoes off and walk in the very cold water to get it, though it would have possibly been spotted by a seagull who would have got to the fish before I would. SO well, never mind lunch

Terry wanted bramble jam with his scones, now he will have to wait as they are not quite ripe enough. This was taken whilst getting lost in Ryde, Terry was walking very fast, leaving me behind whilst I was admiring the local wildlife and buildings of all sorts, but we still got lost and had to call Carol to rescue us, ah Terry, I thought men had the sense of orientation! Maybe you forgot yours at home, hihihi houhou ahah mmrrrhhfffffffpfffft!!!!

After having been at Carol's, we stopped in a local very English tea-breakfast shop and had scones and clotted (which was not clotted) cream and tea. WOnderful. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of it and it was gone, by the time I remembered. The waiter was very nice and offered me a luxurious paper bag t put the left over of my scone in, so I could feed the pigeons with it, though I never met any pigeons and ended up having to take it back to London, where it is sitting now in the kitchen.

A bit of knitting for which I had used a bit of green elastic and it looked wonderful, except tht it does look a bit like a mess on this photo. Slightly.

The Waterloo and City platform at Waterloo. I wanted to fill those alcoves with Virgin Maries' praying, it is such a shame they are empty, or something else could be in there, like momified kids and adults who died of "Swine FLU" so to remind peple they should go and get their vaccine. That would be much better than virgin Marie's.

I've been trying to upload my pictures all day, I think Claude has bribed them to stall my uploads and crash my browser... She wanted to post hers first. I'm still trying (5th attempt, using 2 different Broadband networks) and it's still not doing as it should. They will appear, eventually.
